About Burn Fat and Get Fit
Burn Fat and Get Fit is a nutrition-education site built around one idea: the Protein-to-Energy (P:E) ratio. Popularized by Dr. Ted Naiman, the P:E ratio measures how much protein a food delivers relative to its carbohydrate and fat — a simple lens for choosing meals that keep you full on fewer calories. We turn that idea into practical tools and plain-English guides.
Who runs this site
Burn Fat and Get Fit is owned and operated by Pond Software, an independent studio that builds and maintains focused web tools. We are not a supplement brand, a coaching service, or a subscription program. The site is funded by display advertising and a small number of affiliate links — never by selling your data or pushing a product you don’t need.
Why the site exists
Most people trying to lose fat don’t need another fad diet; they need to understand a couple of numbers — how many calories they burn, how much protein to eat, and which foods give them the most satiety per calorie. We built the site to answer those questions quickly and without a sales pitch, so a visitor can get the number they came for and get on with their day.

- Free calculators — including the PE Diet Calculator, the TDEE Calculator, and the Satiety-per-Calorie Calculator. No sign-up, no email wall.

Our editorial approach
Every calculator and article is meant to be genuinely useful and grounded in published nutrition science. We aim for claims that are evidence-based and non-prescriptive: we explain what the research suggests and let you apply it, rather than promising guaranteed results or a single “right” way to eat.
The content here is for general information and education only. It is not medical, nutritional, or professional advice, and it isn’t a substitute for guidance from a qualified healthcare provider who knows your history. See our Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.
